About

Little Black Look was born from a desire to shop differently.

After years of chasing trends and filling my wardrobe with pieces that weren't built to last, becoming a mum in 2021 prompted me to rethink my relationship with fashion.

As I began rebuilding my wardrobe, I became far more intentional about what I was buying and why. I found myself drawn away from fleeting trends and towards timeless pieces with great design, beautiful fabrics and lasting quality. Around the same time, learning more about the realities of the fashion industry, including documentaries such as The True Cost of Fashion, cemented my belief that there had to be a better way to consume fashion.

Today, every piece I curate reflects that journey: chosen not because it's on trend, but because it's beautifully made, designed to last and deserves to be worn and loved for years to come.

As someone who has always gravitated towards black, I was constantly filtering resale sites looking for timeless, quality pieces that reflected my personal style. This experience inspired the idea for Little Black Look.

Today, Little Black Look is a curated destination for vintage and premium pre-loved fashion, exclusively in black. By focusing on one timeless colour, I remove the overwhelm of trend-led shopping and instead champion quality, longevity and personal style.

My mission isn't to tell people what they should buy. It's to show that there is another way to consume fashion, one that values fewer, better pieces and celebrates clothing that is made to last.

Alongside carefully sourced collections, Little Black Look shares stories, insights and guidance around quality, craftsmanship, material composition and garment care, helping customers make more informed purchasing decisions.

This is more than a resale platform. It's a space for those who love timeless style, appreciate great design and want to build a wardrobe with intention.

I believe fashion should be fun, expressive and an investment in your personal style, not a reaction to the latest trend.
