Orders & shipping

How long will my item take to arrive?
  • We aim to dispatch orders within 3-5 working days.
  • Delivery times vary based on location. UK orders typically arrive within 5 business days; international orders may take longer.
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or customs.
  • We currently offer shipping to UK, U.S & Australia. Due to recent shipping restrictions to the EU, we currently cannot ship here, but hope to offer this soon.
  • If you are looking for shipping to other parts of the world, please email and we can look at shipping options for you.
What if I need to return an item?

We want you to love your purchase! However, as we sell preloved items, we encourage mindful shopping. Our return policy is as follows:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt.
  • Items must be in their original condition with tags.
  • Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.
  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days upon receiving the returned item.
  • Items marked Final Sale are non-returnable.

Selling via Consignment

How do I sell via Little Black Look?

If you have any black clothing, shoes or accessories you’d like to sell, drop us a line at info@littleblacklook.co.uk and you’ll be sent all the details you need to send to us for consignment review including commission rates and where to send them.

Do you accept vintage black pieces?

Yes we do! We love vintage. Please get in touch and we will send you details on how to submit vintage or any other item for consideration.

How much commission do you charge on consignment items?

We have a set fee of 40% of the final selling price. If you want to see the full breakdown of the consignment service, drop us an email with the subject: Consignment details and we'll send out our full T's & C's for review.

What happens if I'm not happy with the selling price offered?

This is always up for discussion and we're happy to review the pricing ahead of committing. All pricing is based on research on each piece, the original retail price, current market value and item condition.

If you are still not happy, the item(s) can be returned to you at your cost for postage.

What is the selling period and what happens if it doesn't sell?

The standard consignment period is 10 weeks. If an item remains unsold after this period, you will have 14 days to arrange collection or request return postage. (You will be responsible for paying the return postage.) If no action is taken within this timeframe, unsold items will be donated to a local charity.

How does Little Black Look work?

We offer a fully curated mix of black clothing, shoes and accessories either sourced, via consignment or from other preloved and ethical brands. We take the filtered search out of looking for preloved black pieces across multiple sites, creating a marketplace, and to strengthen the preloved and ethical makers community.

Which brands do you stock?

It’s important for us to focus on brands that have sustainable and conscious practises as part of their business model, so you won’t find any fast fashion brands as they don’t have a conscious approach to their supply chain, production methods or material sourcing. We are constantly checking in on brands, so let us know the pieces you have, and we’ll take it from there.

Why Just Black?

I have always been someone who gravitates towards black, it makes me feel confident and it can be elevated in numerous ways. I will often say, ‘if only it was in black’ and will regularly filter sites to show just black pieces. It is timeless and can be dressed up or down from the famous LBD to a pair of black jeans. It transcends seasonal trends and is inclusive for everyone.
